By using orbutton, you agree to the following. This is a personal, independently-run project, not a company with a legal department, so keep these short terms in mind.
orbutton is a web player that lets you paste YouTube video or playlist links and hear them played back-to-back with an adjustable crossfade, using the official YouTube IFrame Player API. It does not host, store, download, rip, or redistribute any audio or video — every second of playback happens through YouTube's own embedded player, exactly as if you had opened the video on youtube.com.
orbutton is an independent, unofficial project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google LLC. All video/audio content played through orbutton belongs to its respective rights holders and remains subject to YouTube's own Terms of Service.
If you supply your own YouTube Data API v3 key to import full playlists, you are responsible for that key and for staying within Google's own usage quotas and terms for that key. orbutton never sees or transmits that key anywhere other than directly from your browser to Google's API.
Don't use orbutton to attempt to download, extract, or redistribute video/audio content, to circumvent YouTube's technical protections, or in any way that violates YouTube's Terms of Service or Developer Policies. orbutton reserves the right to restrict access for use that violates these terms.
These terms may be updated as the app changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the current version of this page.
